This high energy five piece live band excel in transporting their audiences back to non-stop good times, excellent memories, throwbacks, feel good moments and sing-a-long melodies. They create for their audiences an exciting journey across musical history from the swinging 60’s, the groovy 70s, the classic 80s with a scattering of the 90’s and noughties for the young and young at heart….

Kelly Manche

 LEAD VOCALS/PERCUSSION – KELLY MANCHÉ- Kelly is a truly versatile, dynamic and soulful vocalist with over 23 years of live music experience playing across venues in the UK, Europe and Australia. As lead singer with her band Tabooz, Kelly co-wrote their original radio hit “See the light” and regularly appeared on Maltese TV and Radio. She’s worked as a session singer recording radio jingles and was a backing vocalist for local Maltese star, Ira Losco, on a Song for Malta and supporting Elton John, before starring in her own Cabaret-style solo show in Cyprus. Also familiar with the Brisbane and Gold Coast music scene, Kelly performed at many local venues and functions with the duo Sticky Fingers/The Fretz & Mezzo Collective, Vinyl Frenzy and currently as lead singer of Crossover.

 

Tony drummer DRUMS/VOCALSTONY PENNISI - Originally from Townsville, Tony is a seasoned touring musician, backing artist and session drummer.  He has toured as supporting act throughout Queensland with Charlie Pride and Bo Diddley. Adding to his list of achievements Tony hasbacked artists including Normie Rowe, Kerrie- Anne Kennerley and many more. Before leaving Townsville Tony played in Award winning Country Rock band - Whiteline. This band was chosen to play for the then Prime Minister Paul Keating. After moving to Brisbane 20 years ago Tony enjoyed great success playing on the club circuit with well-known club bands such as Dudes of Doo Wop,  00-70s and Crossover.

 Michael Coppin Bass Guitar BASS/BACKING VOCALS – MICHAEL COPPIN- Michael's musical career began back in the late 70's playing 60/40 music in little country halls tucked around the outskirts of the Darling Downs. In the early 80's he moved to Brisbane & found success with Aussie Mozzies, The Likely Lads & Vic Kena& City Limits. From there he focused on 50's/60's & American Country Rock before joining 70's band Able Magwitch. More recently Michael played as bass player for Vinyl Frenzy and is currently in Crossover. Over the years Michael has played support to The Radiators, Australian Crawl, WicketyWak, Russell Morris & Keith Urban                         

 

Bill Darling - GuitaristLEAD GUITAR/BACKING VOCALS – BILL DARLING-Bill has played in various original and cover bands in Melbourne since the mid 1980's when his original outfit the Inner Sleeves shared stages with the likes of the Hoodoo Gurus, The Church, Mental as Anything and Dynamic Hepnotics. After returning from 12 months in Japan in 1993 where he played solo, duo and band gigs four nights a week, Bill has played the role of John Lennon and then George Harrison in Where's Ringo and the Melbeats, Melbourne's premier Beatles tribute acts. Since then Bill has been a regular on the club circuit in bands such as Able Magwitch, Paris, Texas, Vinyl Frenzy and Crossover. 

 

David P Shortland-Keyboards

 KEYS/BACKING VOCALS– DAVID P SHORTLANDDavid trained as a classical pianist but quickly transitioned to the 'rock band scene'. Playing professionally for over 30 years in many bands throughout Australia, including the official ' Australian Meatloaf Tribute Show ' (13 years).After David lost his sight in 2004 he changed direction  focusing on composing & producing his own music albums including 'Mystrelle' ,'Aesop Go HipHop' and 'The Haunted House'  to name a few. In recent years David has returned to his first love, performance, by joining Vinyl Frenzy & now Crossover.
